HVAC Preventive Maintenance Program:
14 point inspection to insure efficient operation & reduce repair costs.
Griffin maintenance plans provide for the necessary inspection and adjustment of the equipment covered. Serviced as required and applicable in our best judgment to keep the system operating properly, including the following when applicable:
  • Check performance of all major components
  • Lubricate moving parts as required
  • Check refrigerant charges
  • Check oil level indicators on compressors
  • Inspect for oil and refrigerant leaks
  • Inspect condensers
  • Tighten electrical connections at equipment
  • Check belts and accessories
  • Check temperature controls
  • Inspect cooling tower
  • Inspect fans, motors, and starters
  • Test amperage and voltages
  • Check operation of all ignition systems
  • Air filter maintenance (price of filters may be additional)
Additional Services - Add to your Preventive Maintenance:
  • Cooling tower water terminal inspection
  • Annual chiller inspection
  • Swamp Cooler start-up
  • Swamp cooler shut down
  • Cooling tower basin cleaning (one time per year)
  • Change oil and filters or driers as required
When to Schedule Preventive Maintenance:
  • If your system heats and cools:
    Perform maintenance in the spring and fall.
  • Heating only:
    Perform maintenance at least once a year, before the heating season.
